Every member should be required to review.
There should be a minimum number of reviews that a member has to make in a given time period or lose their membership.

I DO comment and give feedback, when I feel I have something USEFUL to say -- in the world we live in, too many folks pointlessly chatter -- we live in a culture which says, "Just keep talking/hollering, and let the chips fall where they may!" Hope everyone is doing well during this hot summer! [My attempt to let all of you know that I'm NOT hollering at you, or at least TRYING no to] :)

Benny Pitsinger -- One problem, as I see it, is that numerous beginning songwriters DO NOT feel comfortable/capable in expressing (what they perceive as) "valid" feedback when listening to a new song; secondly, if someone thinks that a song is really quite "horrible," do you think they should "tell the truth and say they think the song sucks," or "lie and try to blow smoke up someone's butt?" I think you HAVE to allow people to not comment when they don't feel comfortable, for whatever reason they don't feel comfortable commenting. Personally, I don't want someone commenting when they are commenting simply to not "lose their membership" -- I am STRONGLY opposed to this idea, for those reasons!

Dennis, It would also be nice to have notification that someone has responded to one of your reviews. I always want to see if they think my review is constructive.
Just like everyone else, I would rather receive than give! Giving good thoughtful feedback can be rather tedious. It is discouraging to have 60 or 80 views and have little response.
Thanks for your site! I see this a becoming a valuable resource.

Ensuring everyone is giving feedback, is something we are working really hard on trying to build a solution around. We have a number of options that we will be testing out in the up coming months. I really appreciate the feedback and your commitment to not only giving, but receiving feedback on Frettie. Stay tuned.
