  2. Public & Private Tracks

    Create a setting to toggle if your track should be displayed as a "Public" or "Private" Track. Private tracks would only be visible to logged-In users.

  5. Show the playing time of a song

    Since most beginning writers, like me, tend to write songs that are too long for commercial play, I think it would be great to show how long in time the song is. It could help in the evaluation process as to whether a song has radio potential or not.

  6. Artists in your area

    Just wondering if there is a way to find out if there are artists in your area on Frettie, so we could support them in person or connect for music collaborations . I know this could be tricky with privacy issues and stuff. But I was wondering what you think of the idea.

    Providing a localized/advanced search is something we have been looking at doing. We think it would be really valuable to everyone. We’re looking at what that looks like from a technical standpoint and timeline. Will keep you updated on its progress! Thanks for adding your feedback.   7. Every member should be required to review.

    There should be a minimum number of reviews that a member has to make in a given time period or lose their membership.

  8. provide stats for posted feedback on the artist's own profile

    (so that just by going to their own profile a writer can see if there has been any recent feedback/comments posted to any other their songs)

    Thanks again for providing us with your feedback. This is something we have been working on for a few months already, we are just working out some details around functionality etc.

    As with every new update to Frettie, we will be sure to notify everyone once completed!

  10. remove the "christian" option from the genera list.

    My opinion is that christian is a worldview, a religion (but more than just religion), and not a genera. I'm a christian. (I'm actually a full-time pastor/worship pastor) I'm trying to start a movement that takes "christian" out of a genera and back into its proper place as "music" that is from a christian perspective. :)

    Its really not that big of a deal, but thought i'd mention it. :) My music is "christian" in that I'm a follower of Jesus who writes music, but it wouldn't fit in the typical "christian" genera. (I use vivid language, raw emotion, "unfit…

  11. Edit Response, Edit Picture, Post Lyrics?

    Hey Dennis:

    Wish we could edit "responses". Also, noticed that once you post a song and Frettie.com adds a picture, you can't go back and add your own. Is there a place for the lyrics?... 250 characters doesn't do it.

  12. @ Tagging people!

    I would love to be able to @Name people when typing comments. Folks leave such nice comments and great critiques on my songs. It would be so nice to be able to reply to their comments and "@Name" tag them, so the reply is brought to their attention, and they know their comments haven't gone unnoticed. :)

  13. Specific lyric section

    I know you can put your lyrics in the "feedback" section. However, I think it would encourage people to add their lyrics is there was a specific "lyric" section. It is so much easier to critique a song when you can follow the lyrics as you listen. This is particularly true if the lyric isn't clear due to background music, vocal style of slurring lyric, and other situation.

  14. Ability to add comments directly to a waveform of the track.
